Sunday quote

Here is this weeks post from Rahul …..very pertinent for the way I’m feeling just now …with our kids we are a HUGE part of their journey in the early part of their lives …it’s a blessing, honour, loads of fun and damned hard work  ….then they start to excersise those ‘independence’ muscles:D:D:D ….at this stage it feels like being an ‘Angler’ ….trying to master the art of knowing when to give them some slack or reeeeel it back in ……eventually they let you know when it’s time to put the line down …free to swim …maybe make some mistakes …learn ….grow ….and hopefully keep swimming on back to touch base every now and then if/when they need 🙂

  1. There’s an old Irish ‘sean fhocail’ or saying, Mol an óige agus tiocfaidh sí. Bual sa tóin í agus titfidh sí, which, translated literally means, ‘praise the youth and she will come, kick her arse and she’s fall.’
